Parker Spurs on a Win against Rockets in Overtime

San Antonio – Led by Tony Parkers 28 points and four free throws in overtime, the San Antonio Spurs ran past the Houston Rockets 101 – 95.  For the Houston Rockets, Kyle Lowry led the team with 22 points.

Parker played a game high 45 minutes because of the fact that back-up point guard TJ Ford out with a pulled hamstring from Tuesday nights game.   The Spurs had rookie Corey Joseph, who was recently recalled from the D-league on the bench, but he did not receive any minutes.

At 7 – 4, the Spurs Southwest Division lead was cut to one game over the Mavericks with their win over the Boston Celtics.

On Friday, the Houston Rocks will face the Sacramento Kings while the San Antonio Spurs face the Portland Trailblazers.
